This website

This static website collects no personal data and uses no analytics, cookies or forms. Its host, Vercel, may keep standard access logs. Yosemite collects no additional logs from visits to this site.

The home page makes a reachability request to the private Yosemite app at cats-macbook-pro-2.tail4a4f17.ts.net. The request sends no credentials, stores no result and times out after four seconds. If the app responds, the page forwards you there, where the app handles sign-in. Otherwise, you stay on this website. An “Open Yosemite” link is always available for opening the app yourself.

Google account data

Yosemite is a self-hosted personal assistant operated by its owner. When the owner connects their Google account, Yosemite reads their own Gmail, Calendar and Drive data through Google's APIs only to show and act on their own information at their request.

This data is stored only on the owner's own hardware. It is never shared with third parties, sold, used for advertising or used to train models. Model inference runs locally.

Yosemite's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access

The owner can revoke access in Google Account → Security → Third-party access by removing Yosemite's access. They can also disconnect the Google connection in Yosemite.

Retention

Google account data stored by Yosemite is deleted when the connection or profile is deleted. Revoking access at Google stops future access; it does not itself delete data already stored in Yosemite.
